Bryan Blavatt, a long-time NCERT member and member of the NCERT National Board, has come out of retirement to take on a new challenge!  Selected as the new superintendent for Hernando County Schools, located in Brooksville, Florida, Bryan will be managing a district of more than 24,000 students.  When he retired from Boone County, Kentucky, that district had approximately 18,000 students.

NCERT Member, Mark Bielang, will be installed as President of the American Association of School Administrators (AASA).  The installation ceremony will occur during the 2009 Seattle Summit on July 16th, 2009 in Seattle, WA.  As is our tradition, NCERT is planning to host a reception and dinner to honor Mark during the Summit.
